The 13th Russian Internet Governance Forum is going to be held offline on April 6-7, 2023

The collection of topics to be covered at RIGF 2023 is complete. Over 30 proposals were sent by interested users between December 12, 2022, and January 27, 2023 for the 13th Russian Internet Governance Forum's program.

The topic “How to Avoid Internet Fragmentation” generated the most interest; participants plan to discuss, among other things, the benefits and drawbacks of technological sovereignty, the potential for developing cooperation within the framework of international and regional cybersecurity centers.

Topics such online trust and quality, the protection of distant workers' rights, implementation prospects, and limitations on the right to access the Internet are suggested for discussion under the heading “Connecting all people and defending human rights”. Future RIGF 2023 attendees also propose to debate the issue of cybersquatting, the actions of “hacktivists”, and the future of the global economic system in the digital age.

The RIGF 2023 Program Committee will do its best to consider all the submitted ideas when forming the final program. The final program will be made after processing the proposed topics and taking into account the global trends announced at the global IGF, which was held in early December 2022 in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

As a reminder, the 13th Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF 2023), organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, will be held on April 6-7, 2023 offline.
