Vladimir Todorov — Rambler&Co

In 2014, Vladimir Todorov completed the Chinese History and Culture advanced international course at Shanghai University (China). In 2016, he graduated from the HSE Faculty of Asian Studies with a degree in International Relations with China.

Vladimir started his professional career in 2012 as a freelance correspondent for the Science and Business and Finance departments of the Gazeta.Ru online publication. In 2014, Vladimir became a staff correspondent for the Business and Finance department, covering the activities of the metallurgical industry, as well as internet, media and telecom businesses. In 2015, he became head of Gazeta.Ru’s Technology Department.

In 2016, Vladimir Todorov was appointed head of Lenta.ru’s Internet and Media Department and wrote a series of journalistic investigations about the “death groups” on VKontakte and drug trafficking on the Russian darknet.

Since August 2017, Vladimir Todorov has been Editor-in-Chief of Lenta.ru. In 2019, he was also appointed Director of Media Development at Rambler&Co, where he is responsible for the strategic development of the largest federal media outlets: Lenta.ru, Gazeta.Ru and Sekret Firmy, among others.

Under Vladimir’s guidance, Lenta.ru implemented a number of large-scale special projects, such as the History of Russian Pop Music, the World History of Sanctions, What to Do?, Time to Grow, and Shock Wave. All of them have received multiple nominations for such major contests as TEFI- Multimedia, the Runet Prize, Silver Mercury and the Golden Site. In 2023, Vladimir became the producer of the First World Problems documentary series on important social and cultural phenomena in Western countries.
