BIOGRAPHY
Elena Zinovyeva — MGIMO UniversityZinovieva Elena graduated with honors from the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University, and then completed postgraduate and doctoral studies at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
Candidate of Political Science (2007), Doctor of Political Science (2019), Professor of the Department of World Political Processes at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Deputy Director of the Center for International Information Security and Science and Technology Policy.
Research interests - international Internet governance, international information security, technological sovereignty of Russia. Author and co- author of more than 100 scientific and educational publications in Russian and foreign languages, published in leading publications in Russia and abroad. Chief editor of the textbook "Digital International Relations" (2023). Member of the editorial board of the journal "Journal of Digital Economy Research", published by the MGIMO - University and the journal "Herald of St. Petersburg State University. International Relations Series”, published by St. Petersburg State University.
She participated as part of the Russian delegation in the UN Groups of Governmental Experts (GGE) on ICTs Security, as well as in the UN Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) on ICTs security.
